Each artifact plays an important role in telling the rich history of golf, but these 10 are among our most impactful acquisitions of 2021.

We're not just making history this week, we're celebrating it!

To honor the legacy of women’s contributions to golf, the USGA Golf Museum & Library is telling the full story of the women's game from early amateurs through today on site this week at The Olympic Club.

The inaugural #USWomensAmateur was played on Nov. 9, 1895, when Lucy Barnes Brown bested a field of 13 golfers. Now, the Women's Amateur regularly tops 1,300 entries annually.

The 2021 championship will be played Aug. 2-8 at Westchester C.C. in Rye, N.Y.

A life well lived.

The most treasured artifacts from the late Mickey Wright, a 4-time @USWomensOpen champion, are now in the hands of the USGA Golf Museum and Library.

We are honored to preserve them so they can inspire future generations and honor her legacy.

In a stunning final wish, Mickey Wright left her entire estate to the USGA. On a recent trip to the museum, I went into the vault and got an inside look into the life of Mickey.

Even the ordinary seemed extraordinary.
