Recently, the AH Choice Neighborhoods team celebrated the final round of our University Choice scholarship at Roosevelt Hall. Three deserving recipients were awarded $5,000 scholarships and 5-piece luggage sets. We also awarded two 2024 graduates with $1,000 gifts.

At AH, we believe in fostering a strong sense of community within our agency. In late July, AH CEO Terri Lee hosted her second Employee Town Hall. It was an afternoon of learning and laughter that highlighted the dedication and unity of our team.

The AH Board of Commissioners recently approved the financial closing for the redevelopment of the historic Stadium Hotel, which will feature 231 affordable housing units. This transformative project, with a total investment of $54M, includes a $18.2M contribution from AH.

The AH Board of Commissioners recently approved a resolution supporting the development of Sylvan Hills II, a fully affordable multi-family development with 233 units and 24 permanent supportive housing units.

Civic Center redevelopment is progressing! The AH Board of Commissioners has approved a resolution permitting AH to take action to complete the financial closing of Phase R1 of the Civic Center development. The proposed development will offer 148 affordable units for seniors.

The AH Board has approved AH to take all necessary actions to complete the financial closing of Herndon Square Phase III. The proposed development will provide 178 units, of which 151 will be affordable, with a total development cost of $76M and an AH investment of $15.9M

Big news! The AH board has officially authorized AH to take all necessary actions to complete the financial closing for Bowen Homes Phase 1. This development will feature 151 units, including 107 affordable homes, with a total cost of $69.7M and an AH investment of $18.7M.
