Great having my friend and HPU Alumni Mark Dance preach in chapel today. Melinda and I enjoyed hosting them on campus and for joining us in praying that God would move in a mighty way among our students.

It was an honor hosting Juan Luis Salinas from Colegio Bautista in Temuco, Chile on campus this week. I look forward to working together in the days ahead, and providing their high school graduates the opportunity to study at HPU!

Grateful for the invitation to preach at Early First Baptist Church this morning. Loved seeing this congregation collecting items this month for the student food pantry on campus, and getting to meet the parents of our HPU graduates. Love this church and their pastor.

The HPU family thanks our nation’s veterans for their service and sacrifice. We salute them on this Veterans Day.

The third Presidential Leadership Scholars luncheon was great today. I am grateful for the phenomenal leaders who pour into our students, sharing key things to help all of us better serve through leading well. Our students were blessed, challenged, and encouraged today.

Grateful for the invitation to preach at FBC Stephenville today, and for the opportunity to connect with future HPU Yellow Jackets. Sharing a meal with some of our trustees after church was the perfect end to a great morning.

Happy for these students who were elected to the Homecoming Court, and for the winners. Missing the King, he was getting ready for the second half, so we couldn’t grab a pic. We have the best students in the world at Howard Payne University!
