At this time, IMPD has located 37-year-old Shane Austin Reynolds. IMPD continues to seek the community's assistance in locating 4-year-old Gemma Hadler and 36-year-old Brandi Lee Hadler.

IMPD Missing Persons Detectives are seeking the public's help in locating 4-year-old Gemma Hadler.

Gemma is described as 3’5', 35 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes and was last seen on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.

If located, please call 911 immediately.

The Indiana Crimes Guns Task Force has seized 302 crime guns this year, exceeding last year’s total. This innovative endeavor is making central Indiana safer. Thank you to Mayor Joe Hogsett Scott Fadness Rep. Greg Steuerwald and the Indiana General Assembly for their support.

In less than two weeks, you can expect to see a lot of little ghosts, goblins and superheroes out and about!

The City of Indianapolis has established trick-or-treat hours to be on October 31st from 6pm until 8pm.

It also introduces a $10,000 signing bonuses for both recruits and laterals to help fill open positions.

You’ll be hearing more in the next few weeks about our new efforts to recruit officers and laterals not only here in Indiana, but across the nation.

IMPD would like to thank the council for passing the 2023 operating budget.

This passing will continue the good work of the IMPD, while focusing on officer recruitment and retention. In fact, it increases first-year pay for officers to one of the highest in the Midwest.
