In late 2023, after an Italian investigation, Europol sent us details of users sharing child sexual abuse material via messaging apps. We responded by disseminating intelligence packages around the world.

🚨 Result: Arrests in Bahrain, Brazil & Paraguay. We're working on more.

The Heads of NCB conference has ended with a series of conclusions to boost global law enforcement:

Day 3 of the Heads of National Central Bureaus Conference: Delegations are engaged in special briefings covering ongoing governance reforms, the reinforcement of data protection mechanisms, and the use of Notices and Diffusions.

Excellent cooperation between Policía de Colombia and Carabineros de Chile, resulting in the arrest of 30-year old man suspected in the murder of a police officer in Chile.

Each year, INTERPOL #RedNotices help stop thousands of the world's most dangerous fugitives.

Effective police collaboration at the regional level is crucial, given shared borders, languages & crime threats among neighbouring countries. This morning, our Heads of National Central Bureaus convened regional roundtables to enhance and streamline cooperation efforts.

An honour to take part in the first Female Heads of NCB meeting.
It is an important step in our efforts to increase visibility of women in policing and set new norms.
Law enforcement needs stronger female representation at all levels, but especially in leadership positions.

10 years ago, only 7 of our National Central Bureaus were led by women.

Although that number has now grown to 30, we know more can be done.

Today, our female Heads of NCBs joined forces for a conversation on policies and practices to create change.

Building on the 5 priority actions outlined in the #ViennaDeclaration .

320 police officials from 136 countries are working to identify initiatives to expand access to INTERPOL’s global databases, to encourage greater criminal data sharing.
