Huge thanks to the Moors for the Future team for hosting us today as part of our annual team get together. We enjoyed a walk up Kinder Scout, learning about the unique challenges they have had to restore the area's #peatlands .

Our Programme Manager Jane Akerman was at The Art and Energy Collective's event this weekend on Harford Moor, Dartmoor, where they were raising awareness of the importance of #peatlands . They experimented with seeding Sphagnum on wool and hemp mats - and here's Jane's nod to Eyes on the Bog!

After months of rain it was great to finally fly our Science and Engineering at Swansea University ground-penetrating radar equipped drone over #foresttobog #peatlands on the Rhigos Mtns, Wales. Surveys completed successfully - excellent piloting Adrian Luckman!

Our Director Emma Hinchliffe spent a sunny morning at Portmoak Moss with Portmoak Community Woodland and Woodland Trust Scotland looking at the challenges of conserving lowland raised bogs and the interface between trees and #peat .
