Today, the Biden Administration announced the 10 drugs subject to negotiation under the Inflation Reduction Act.

Growing research shows extreme heat disproportionately affects historically marginalized groups.

American Indian and Alaska Native people were most likely to die due to heat vs. other racial/ethnic groups. Black people had a higher rate of heat-related deaths than White people.

NEW: A new poll from KFF shows many common false claims don’t command a lot of Americans’ trust. But people aren’t necessarily rejecting those claims either.

The survey is a pilot (supported by Robert Wood Johnson Foundation); one element of a new program area we plan to launch next year, using the research, polling, and journalistic capabilities we have at KFF to identity health misinformation, track its spread, and probe its impact.
