Free agent G Lonnie Walker IV has agreed on a one-year deal with the Boston Celtics, his agent George S. Langberg of GSL Sports Group tells ESPN. Walker IV averaged 9.7 points and shot 38% on three-pointers in 58 games for Brooklyn last season.

Nice money at 38 years old.

Indiana Pacers guard T.J. McConnell has agreed on a four-year, $45 million extension, Mark Bartelstein and Andy Shiffman of Priority Sports tell ESPN. Deal takes total worth of McConnell’s contract to $54M over five years.

Los Angeles Clippers C Ivica Zubac has agreed on a three-year, $58.6 million contract extension, Mike Lindeman and Jeff Schwartz of excel basketball tell ESPN. Zubac gets max available for his three seasons and now is guaranteed four years and $70M.

Bumping this for anyone who missed it. Amazing that a role player gets a HOF after barely 100 regular season games, but his resume makes it clear he deserved one.

Considering his size and the frequency with which he was tasked with creating last-second shots on his own, Jalen Brunson’s percentage is pretty darn impressive. And still, might be beneficial to lower this frequency with increased offensive pace and a shared burden.
