This award was a huge achievement, but the best thing is seeing the impact we are having on #StudentNurse placements in #GeneralPractice. Since this initiative, we have had over 30 students working with us here NGPS inspiring the next generation of #PracticeNurses

We had an amazing morning working with 350 year 6 kids from the West End of Newcastle today. Talking to them about all the amazing things they could do if they became nurses! NGPS NextGen Nurse Michelle Henderson The poo and wee games went down a treat!

What a day! Out with Jazz one of our amazing 3rd year #StudentNurses. She managed her own clinic and saw 8 patients for NHS Health checks. I loved seeing her confidence grow with each patient.

First day nerves today: Hosting an immunisation update for my nursing colleagues up here in the North East. #PracticeNurses supporting each other, leading to more confidence & competence! So pleased to be part of the team put together by our Primary Care Training Hub!

My first day delivering part 1 of our new to vaccination training! I'm working with an amazing bunch of #PracticeNurses to support & train our staff directly! It was a great day, and I can't wait to do part 2 next week! ✨️

This doesn't surprise me at all sadly. I see every day the phenomenal work that GPNs do yet we are often overlooked when it comes to decisions in practice. Our voice needs to be heard. I'm a #ProudPracticeNurse & I will make sure our voice is heard 💪
