It was gratifying wiring this lesion live for , Supercross 120 and Mongo to the rescue. What’s more gratifying is the privilege to be able to offer hope and therapy for these sickest of our patients that are not surgical candidates and were previously no-option patients.

25% reduction in all cause death with IVUS/OCT guided PCI. Not a shock to those who use it regularly but hopefully is to those who don’t!

Furthermore, this must be mandatory in any future RCT pitching PCI vs medical Tx or CABG

🔸 Iron deficiency is common in HF pts
🔸 PO iron is not effective
🔸 IV iron improves QOL and functional capacity in HFrEF
🔸 Meta-analyses suggest benefit of IV iron in reducing mortality in HFrEF
🔸 There is a 2A recommendation by ACC for IV iron in HFrEF

Primum Non Nocere, first do no harm, I kindly ask PCRonline 🫀 to put a full video of this case that was presented at so it can be an obligatory viewing material for ALL cardiologists so not to ask for stress tests and angiography in asymptomatic patients,pre or post PCI!
