Question about Ukraine. Says US will be pulled into conflict if Russia uses nuclear weapons. Salvi pushes back on mod who says she didn't support aid, says she just wants to make sure it's being used well by 'brave' fighters.

Duckworth is giving some MAJOR side eye as Salvi attacks her instead of answering whether or not she'd support Donald Trump if he runs in 2024. She said 🧐🧐🧐.

Salvi says the streets of Chicago aren't safe and touts police endorsements. Says she's always supported 'inner-city kids' education. Says schools are failing.

Duckworth says we're running for Senate, not Chicago mayor. Talks about bills she's passed / pushed for.

Duckworth calls for 'better, more sustainable nuclear fuel,' says she's gotten money for carbon sequestering that could create 'clean coal.' I'm skeptical about said 'clean coal,' haven't heard that one myself.

Good questions from an ag student! How do we balance making food more sustainable with that possibly raising prices:

Salvi talks about energy policy, not food, says Biden energy is driving up fuel prices. Duckworth doesn't get to answer. I wanted to hear an answer there :/

On farms: Salvi says government needs to 'get out of the way' on farmers.

Duckworth says she's already been negotiating on farm bill, says insurance key part, that farm bill is about energy too because bio fuels.

On future stimmy checks, both say they don't support them now as recession looms.

Both say they got the COVID vax and booster too. But Salvi says Duckworth supports mandates, Duckworth says she doesn't but that masks and mandates saved lives. Salvi makes a face.
