1/2: Not only is it unacceptable that Natural England are being attacked for doing their job from an environmental point of view - as without that there'll be even less ๐ธ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฟ๐ & even more ๐ฉin our rivers & seas, it's also politically insane as without them them doing...

A strong Natural England is critical to addressing the nature and climate emergency, and building resilient, sustainable economy.
Natural England is not perfect. It would be impossible to be, given its remit. But the idea that we don't need a strong, independent voice for nature at the heart of government when we're trying to resolve an escalating biodiversity crisis is frankly ludicrous.
