For the last 7 1/2 years, I've been the last one out of this building almost every day. It's only fitting that on my last day I leave to an empty lot & street lights. I am deeply grateful for what this chapter of my life did for me 🙏

Haniger was all over this 1-1 SL. How, as a hitter, can you be prepared to hit a 1-1 offspeed pitch like this? Starts w/ prep, & watching the game. McKenzie is known to go to his BB in big situations -when he needs an out. This was a SL, but betting Haniger prepped for hanging OS

I feel like someone on Twitter needs to translate the 'Just throw strikes' sentiment to pitchers.

Translation: Don't nibble, don't try to be perfect with every pitch. Throw it over the big part of the plate, and let your stuff and your D work!
