I celebrated National Nurses Day yesterday by bringing donuts to the incredible staff at Westminster Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay, where I first worked as a geriatric nurse practitioner! It was so fun to be back visiting with my former coworkers and residents.

Yesterday, the House unanimously passed my Securing the Chain of Command Continuity Act! This bill will ensure both Congress & the President are notified within 24 hours if any of our nation’s high ranking national security officials are incapacitated.
