Call for papers! Jessica Schachle-Gordon and I are co-editing an upcoming special issue of Work and Occupations entitled "Working for Social Change." The special issue will examine how workers enact their jobs in ways that contribute to social change. Abstracts due Sept. 1.

My article "Black Lives Matter and the Changing Sociological Canon" was just published. In the article, I show that BLM is responsible for an exponential increase in the assignment of Black authors in sociology courses. doi.org/10.1177/009205…
