Gripping coverage on #Newsnight this evening of the #Biden situation with a fascinating panel including passionate appeal from Bonnie Greer for him to resign with dignity.

We need intelligent journalists more than ever, especially those that are energetic advocates for the arts, so Iā€™m very sad to see Kirsty Wark leave #Newsnight. One of the best!

ā€œwhen the womenā€™s team won it - what it meant to them, what it meant to the nation.ā€ see how easy it is to normalise - and, thus, legitimise to the general public - womenā€™s football?

For once I agree with Claire Fox, and view that #Ukraineā€™s incursion into Russia is a largely positive development. Brass neck of that Russian MP was unbelievable. However, Putin will punish. #Newsnight

Struck by the amount of posts today from parents re A level results; many celebrating success, others advocating for clearing places on their childrenā€™s behalf. Thinking of care leavers who have been failed by their corporate parent. Many will be have opened their results alone

I like this panel of pragmatists on #Newsnight tonight. Stephen Bush excellent as usual. Pay and conditions are key to getting public services and the economy going again, but social care staff are indeed always forgotten.

To be clear, it was a parliament with a huge Conservative majority which voted nearly 3-1 in a free vote to ban so-called 'silent prayer' outside abortion clinics. And the House of Lords did nothing to disagree. Because harassment of women isn't free speech.

I want pay tribute to the outstanding leadership of Diana Johnson DBE MP šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡¦šŸŒˆ has given over the last 14 years. I am delighted to have her endorsement as her successor to chair the APPG. Needless to say I will be staying in close touch with her for advice and guidance.

remember Grenfell, scandals in children's homes owned by private equity, polluting water companies, dodgy PPE contracts or P&O treatment of workers When you hear likes of Tufton Street, Rupert Lowe or RIchard Tice arguing for "a pared down state, deregulation, slashing red tape"
