I don’t know enough to know if this signals a genuine change of policy or is just a soundbite, but it has to make sense to put solar on roofs & brownfield sites before agricultural land from a whole range of perspectives.

When the Prime Minister talks at length about getting the long-term sick to replace migrant labour in the horticultural sector, you do wonder what advice he’s being given.
