It’s much better to face the giants now. Don’t go ten years living below your potential because you didn’t want to do the hard thing, you didn’t want to be uncomfortable. When you take that step toward your giant, God’s going to step in and help you do it.

What you’re up against may be bigger, more powerful, more influential, but you and God are a majority. Him being for you is more than the world being against you. There’s not an obstacle He can’t move, a sickness He can’t heal, an addiction He can’t free you from.

You don’t have to have big resources, big talent, big connections. God will take your sling shot, what seems small, and put His favor on it. You will defeat great giants. It’s not so much what you have; it’s the blessing on what you have; it’s the favor on what you have.

Who can stop the sun from rising each morning? Who can keep light from breaking forth over the horizon? All the forces of darkness cannot stop what God has ordained for you. They cannot keep what He promised from coming to pass.

God sees what you’re dealing with. When He’s not removing the pressure that means you have the grace to withstand, to endure, to overcome.

You won’t reach your destiny running from things that are hard, running because it’s uncomfortable. When you run to your giants, when you deal with what you know you need to deal with, God will make things happen that you couldn’t make happen.

The how is not up to us. The how may look impossible. If you stay focused on how, you’re going to live worried, discouraged. Your job is not to figure everything out; your job is to honor God, be your best, and He will take care of the how.

You may not be able to pray it away, but when you say, “God, I trust You. I’m not giving up on my dreams, backing down on what You promised. I’m going to stand strong, knowing that You’re in control.'

Too often, we’re comforting what we should be confronting. We’re making excuses. You can’t run from everything that’s uncomfortable. When you confront what you know you need to deal with, God gives you the grace, the strength, the power to do what you couldn’t do on your own.

Jesus said, “Father, if You can take this bitter cup from Me, nevertheless, not My will but Yours be done.” It’s okay to ask God to take something away, but you need to add the nevertheless. “God, if it doesn’t happen my way, I’m not going to complain.'

Sometimes, God will take you down a path that’s uncomfortable. There’s pressure, adversity. It’s a strategic place to launch you to favor that you’ve never imagined.

God being silent doesn’t mean that He’s not there. That’s when you have to show God you’re going to trust Him even when you don’t hear Him, you’re going to keep believing even though nothing is changing.

When you have an attitude of faith in difficult times, in times of suffering, you don’t complain. Instead, you trust God when the heavens are silent, you thank Him that He’s working. That’s when angels show up.

I can’t promise you that you’ll never feel pressured, overwhelmed, betrayed, left out, but I can promise you there is grace for every Gethsemane.

Real victory is not when God does everything you like, changes all the negative circumstances, fixes all the people that get on your nerves. Real victory is when all that happens, but it doesn’t bother you anymore. You’re content while God is working right where you are.

The enemy would love for you to get stuck in blame, stuck in who hurt you, stuck in a bad childhood, stuck in discouragement. This is a new day. Yes, it was hard, but none of that stopped your destiny.

It’s not a coincidence that before Jesus went to the cross, before He rose from the dead, He had to go through the Garden of Gethsemane. That’s where He sweat great drops of blood. That's where He refused to give up. The real victory was won in Gethsemane.

Peter said, “After you have suffered a little while, you will come out established.” The suffering is not permanent. The squeezing, the pressure is not how your story ends.
