If MSHSAA were to go back 44 years and move to four classes for football, I don’t think I’d be against it. The state playoffs would definitely be more entertaining and make it all mean more. Just my opinion.

Does anybody actually love the current MSHSAA football playoff system? I know some like it, but never seen anybody gush about how amazing it is. I’m not saying it’s amazing btw.

I wish I could do a MSHSAA football district projection for each classification. If I’m not mistaken they won’t release the assignments until the day of Week 1.

Francis Howell Central freshman (2027) TE/Edge is going to be a high volume player at 6-5. Really high ceiling.

First of many FBS offers for the Ladue (2026) sophomore edge rusher. Had six sacks and 57 tackles for the Rams this past season.

HAS to be next thing we figure out. Have yet to see a compelling reason not to finish the weekend of Thanksgiving.

Personally, I like the look of the facilities & the smaller crowd (7,500 seats) will make the atmosphere better. Still playing in a nice college stadium is better than a high school. Nobody will ever think location is perfect & if that’s a make or break deal for then so be it.
