With profound grief and a heavy heart, we regret to inform the sad demise of Cmde Joginder Chandna, VSM (Retd) on 30 Jul 24 at Agra. He was commissioned in the Indian Navy on 01 Jul 1987 and joined the Logistics Branch in 1991.

During his illustrious career, he held various key Ashore appointments, including SO to CNS, Director of Transport, Director of Logistics Support, Principal Director of Civilian Personnel, CSO (P&A) at HQSNC and Cmde (Budget) at HQIDS.

His Afloat appointments included Logistics Officer INS Rana and INS Tir. He also Commanded the premier Naval Logistics Establishment, INS Hamla. He was an avid marathoner and participated in numerous marathons and half-marathons at various locations in the country.
