There is no “Vitamin B17.” What grifters & frauds refer to as such is a molecule called amygdalin, usually found in stone fruit seeds (&apple seeds). It is not a vitamin but a “cyanogenic glycoside,” meaning it generates cyanide when your body cleaves a nitrile group from a sugar

* Unfortunately, many scientific journals and academic institutions are slow to respond to evidence of image manipulation — if they take action at all.

When this was 'Omg CAncel Keys low Fat Faked 7 Countries study' mansplaining in tweets to feel more diet-woke-superior it made me sad abt the state of both masculinity & critical thinking but watching this become a common way for people to engage & cry cancel at critique is 😵‍💫

I wish I were numb to this playbook after years of being in nutrition Twitter but this is just sadder toxic masculinity with higher stakes. Dudes so badly want to stroke their egos with contrarian takes posing as intellectualism and feel community jeered on by others.
