Not good news. April 15- near Castroville, TX. It is atypically early for stem rust to be this evident on susceptible wheat germplasm. Humidity is high and temperatures are favorable for continued development.

Great advice! Other thoughts - the first 10 leaves produced by a corn plant contribute little to yield; most leaf diseases in the Midwest don’t show up until closer to VT; “plant health benefits” from fungicide before V10 very rarely give ROI.
