What we witnessed yesterday was atrocious. No matter what you think politically, everyone should be outraged that a group of young people who had planned a teach in and performances on the lawn of the university they attend were violently accosted in the way that they were.

People who think it’s a good idea to let police/national guard on college campuses haven’t paid attention to news in the last 50+ years.

When we watched genocide in Bosnia, Rwanda and Darfur we debated western military intervention. Watching genocide in Gaza today, we are barely beginning to debate ending western complicity.
