Today Jonas finished 44th. I’d love for him to win, but as he was sprinting to the finish line, he lost to this racer by .1 sec. We want to win everything, but if we don’t, we lose gracefully. J gave him 5 & said good job. I’d rather raise an elite person than an elite athlete.

I know how hard Jonas and his teammates worked. Absolutely the most challenging course he has ever had to run on. 30th out of 144 & PR’d on the day. Jonas knew he wasn’t going to win but busted his butt to finish as high as he could to help the team. And he did, for 3rd place.

I love working w/ my son to help him grow as a ballplayer. This summer has been a struggle to find a good release point for his curveball. He’s been getting a little disheartened, losing confidence in throwing it, but today I think he found it! Strike after strike & then this one

Other than Mariano, this is a best entrance in all of baseball.

This summer has come to an end! But we had the ⚾️ trip of a lifetime. Chicago for the Sox & Cubs, onto Milwaukee to watch the Brewers. After that, The Field of Dreams. I got to “have a catch” w/ my son, got to go on the field @ Wrigley & my kids ran the scoreboard @ Wrigley!

I love spending this time helping my son hone his craft. Kid loves to work. And I love to help him work.

I’m so proud of my buddy Jose Trevino for realizing his dream last night. A Major League All-Star! Like we said before, now the world knows what an all world human being you are. Keep being you man! The whole fam was watching brother! Loved every minute of it!

Milwaukee was phenomenal. Lakefront Brewery, Discovery World and American Family Field. What a fun 2 days. And that ballpark is one of our favorites. It’s beautiful.

Chicago does food so well!! La Scarola is a hidden gem. Doing something right. They’ve been around for 23 years! Best food I’ve had in a long time. 10/10
