Larry Karaszewski American Cinematheque Beyond Fest My favorite film of that year, Larry. I remember the test screening at the Hollywood Galaxy I attended and walking out absolutely buzzed from how much I loved it. Seems wild that was 30 years ago.

Beyond Fest is absolutely poppin' off this morning. I grabbed tickets to ED WOOD (Larry Karaszewski!) and the Shane Black-Out marathon of LETHAL WEAPON, THE LAST BOY SCOUT, KISS KISS BANG BANG and THE NICE GUYS. SPEED fans, I hope you scored.

Great interview about a great movie about a terrible director. Larry Karaszewski "He did it with his friends, and he had passion! What if we celebrate that? What if we celebrate him, rather than make fun of him?” #edwood rogerebert.com/interviews/pul…
