On the vegetated shingle at Tidemills, East Sussex: Yellow Horned Poppy, Bird's Foot Trefoil and Scarlet Pimpernel. And Teaplant, growing beside Marine Parade #wildflowerhour
Sea Lavender, I think the Rottingdean species (Limonium hyblaeum), on a concrete bank/wall near Seaford sailing club, East Sussex #wildflowerhour #wallplants
Moving on to Tidemills, East Sussex, there was plenty of Rock Samphire growing on a low concrete bank/wall near the sailing club. The 'skeletons' of old plants were still evident #wallplants #wildflowerhour
I saw Groundsel growing on a wall in Lewes, and, later, Sticky Groundsel growing on the vegetated shingle at Tidemills #wallplants #wildflowerhour
Ivy-leaved Toadfax, seen here with Ragwort, on numerous walls in Lewes, East Sussex #wallplants #wildflowerhour
Ran out of time, but wanted to share these pics of Violet Helleborine which I saw in the woodland behind my house earlier this afternoon #wildflowerhour
Some more from Cuckmere Have, East Sussex: Yellow Horned Poppy, Sea Lavender, Greater Sea Spurrey and Rock Samphire #wildflowerhour
A lovely group of Wild Teasel, Wild Mignonette and Viper's Bugloss on the beach at Cuckmere Haven, East Sussex #wildflowerhour
Here's another one I need #wildflowerID help with. Growing on the small area of sandy beach at Hope Gap, East Sussex. I wondered if it was Frosted Orache, which I've not knowingly seen, but the Flora of Sussex says its scarce, so maybe not??? #wildflowerhour
Another for the #daisyfamily challenge: Perennial Sowthistle on the South Downs near Seaford #wildflowerhour
This was a new one for me this week - Clustered Bellflower on the South Downs near Seaford #wildflowerhour
I've looked for Moon Carrot near Hope Gap several times in the past, with no luck. It was in full flower this week and unmistakeable. I tried to recreate the image on the front cover of The Flora of Sussex! #wildflowerhour
I'm assuming this is Sea Mayweed, given the location - on the beach at Cuckmere Haven, East Sussex #wildflowerhour #daisyfamily
I need some #wildflowerID help with this one. It's a Senecio but many of the flowers are lacking ray florets. South Downs near Seaford.
I didn't have many for the #thistles challenge a few weeks ago but here's Creeping, Spear and Dwarf Thistle on the South Downs near Seaford for the #DaisyFamily challenge #wildflowerhour
