Last night was Friday night lights, and Hs football has started back up! Good luck coaches and players. It’s time to put the prospect camps, 7on7’s and star ratings to the side. I’m excited football is back!

It’s been proven most recruits will get most of their offers after their senior year. So relax and go play.

The rule is No pass=No play. So many careers have been cut short due to the lack of commitment in the classroom. Don’t cut your potential to play at the next level college or pro short. Get your grades!

Practice is so important, because your approach to practice will be your game results. Best ones understand full speed in practice = full speed in the game. How you do anything, is how you do everything.

Stop telling yourself that you don’t like school. If you stop going to school you will stop playing ball, and your dreams will no longer exist.

Student athletes; It all starts now. Your academics is critical to your recruitment process. •Stay on track with approved core courses at your HS. •Ask your counselors for guidance to keep you on track with graduation and NCAA eligibility requirements.

Best part about the start of football season is that a lot of players that people didn’t know about, forgotten about or never heard of, are about to introduce themselves to the world! It’s now their turn! The hardest part was the wait. #FOOTBALLISBACK

As a younger player it’s part of your development to be on the scout team. It’s not a bad thing, it will actually help build character/toughness. You're always being evaluated. How you develop on the scout team is going to determine future playing time.

Offers show how many schools are interested. Appreciate the offers and the schools recruiting you. However, your commitment can only go to one school. Focus on your top 5 best options vs the amount of offers you can receive.

The level shouldn’t matter, it’s about the opportunity to play college ball. Time waits for no one, use it wisely. Start searching out your options. Find a school that you can achieve your dream of playing college ball.

Don’t let the NIL idea make you not appreciate the fact of FREE education. It’s an honor/privilege to get some or all your paid education paid for. Having a scholarship is a blessing & getting a NIL is a bonus opportunity.

With recruiting I am interested in seeing young people better themselves. It’s not about hype conversations or telling kids/parents what they want to hear. When the relationship start out legit. It will stay legit and last a lifetime.

Nothing against Friday night lights in the big city, but there's something special about high school football in a small town. Smaller towns produce some talented players.

You shouldn’t let the fact that others have bigger offers make you feel lesser or not talented. Comparison is the thief of joy. Be happy with the offers you have. You shouldn’t compare offers with the next athlete. It will only delay your grind.
