In #Vancouver, a 1956-era car mall goes away, replaced by 14 buildings for 2300 strata and 1000 rental homes, retail (179,000 sq. ft.) and office (386,000 sq. ft.). All enabled by transport change from all-car to now include a Canada Line subway station. Yahoo!!

In #Vancouver, the Heather Lands have emerged from Federal Gov't ownership, to First Nations ownership, on the way to becoming 2600 homes, with retail, a school, childcare and park. The old comes down; the new goes up. We are all better off for it.
