All aboard the Fairmount Line! Electrifying the MBTA Commuter Rail has been talked about for years, and this wouldn’t be possible without the transit and environmental justice advocates, our partners at Keolis Boston, and the workers who keep the trains moving – literally!

Today, we joined Maura Healey, Kim Driscoll, Mass. Transportation Sec Tibbits-Nutt, MBTA GM Eng, Mayor Michelle Wu 吳弭, community leaders, state and local officials to celebrate the MBTA Board’s approval of Keolis’ innovation proposal to bring battery-electric train service to the Fairmount Line!

As a part of #Keolis’ Cares program, we recently completed station beautification efforts at two Boston Fairmount Line stations! Volunteers worked with community groups to clean up the station areas, plant flowers, and clear overgrown areas. Learn more: hubs.la/Q02Lj3jv0
