Private Chris Gray, aged just 19 from Leicester, and of A Company, 1st Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment, was killed in action in a firefight with the Taliban, in the town of Now Zad, Helmand Province, Afghanistan

Gunner James McCardle, from Cardonald, Glasgow, was killed in action in France, on this day, 10th April, 1916, aged 21.

We paid respects and laid flowers at the McCardle family grave in Craigton cemetery in memory of James.

Darren was killed by a ricocheting bullet, from a comrade's gun, who had suffered a dizzy spell whilst on a security patrol and accidentally discharged his weapon. Absolutely tragic 😢

Lieutenant Arthur P T Shelley, aged 43, was killed in the Gretna Masonic Hall Bombing on 7th April, 1941, when 28 people lost their lives

Jonathan’s funeral at St Joseph's Cathedral, Swansea.

Jonathan’s fiancée, Kelly, was pregnant at the time he was killed and left a lovely floral tribute from his baby that he never got to meet. Just heartbreaking 💔
