Completed my first full marathon of the year on Sunday, the ABP Southampton Marathon. Brilliantly organised by Rees Leisure Ltd.
Managed to take another chunk out of my PB.

Work deeply. Rest deeply. Get out of the middle zone.

My first 'official' run of 2023, the Jurassic Express Half Marathon in Dorset yesterday. Brilliantly organised by UK Running Events. Fantastic scenery along the cliffs and hills of Purbeck (over 500m of ascent) . The event even included a trip on a heritage steam railway. Perfect.

Enjoyed a stimulating afternoon co-leading a Challenge Workshop on Sustainability Leadership in HE for Advance HE Senior Strategic Leadership Programme at University of Warwick with Patrick Baughan, hosted by Jean Chandler and Doug Parkin, with some great, thoughtful participants.
