We had the most magical evening opening our 60th season at Glyndebourne with Bizet's Carmen yesterday. And with Lehár's ultimate rom-com The Merry Widow and Wagner's epic Tristan und Isolde also on the bill, a summer of unforgettable operas is calling!

For Holst, Neptune was the most mysterious of the Planets – and with its shimmering strings and off-stage choir, this movement makes for a truly other-worldly experience 💙

On Wednesday a group of musicians from school went on a trip to the Royal Festival Hall to listen to London Philharmonic Orchestra play Appalachian Spring. All the children had a great time and were amazing representatives of our school - Well done #music #superstars 🎶⭐
