Excited and honoured to be the Radio Times choice listen on Monday. The salty tale of Lego Lost At Sea and the quest to find some of the five million pieces that went overboard in 1997. 8pm on BBC Radio 4 on Mon and repeated on Weds at 11am 🐲 🐙

We have exciting news about the arrow that we found at Lauvhøe recently and posted here last week. Since it was broken at both ends, it was hard to date and we suggested that it might date to the Iron Age. Well, we were wrong!🙂

Excited to have visited the Adrift exhibition by Lego Lost At Sea at the Royal Cornwall Museum. Brilliantly integrated in the collection and wonderful story telling. And of course a great selection of washed-up plastics-turned-art, picked up on Cornish beaches.

We've found these on every beach we've visited this week but what are they and where are they coming from? Roughly ½' in diameter, hard plastic and always yellow...

They're still turning up, 26 years on, perhaps flushed out of the sand by the high spring tides of recent days. Lego daisies from the 1997 container spill, found at Perranporth today. twitter.com/fliss/status/1…

Micro beachcombing. Tiny circus strongman barbells. These would have originally been attached to a figure similar to the one on the right, made by Crescent Toys and given away in packs of Kellogg's Sugar Smacks in 1959.
