'It really is a dream come true for me' said fiona munday from 🌱Leicester Diabetes after winning the Outstanding Educator in Diabetes award at the recent Quality In Care Awards.

Fiona was recognised for her work in writing and delivering diabetes education for health care professionals.

The latest cohort of future operating department practitioners (ODPs) joined Leicester's Hospitals 😷 this week.

The 10 student ODPs will spend the next three years on placements across the Trust as they study for their degree at the University of Leicester.
