Semi-flexible polymer networks are almost exclusively modeled in isolation 🙁. Yet, in nature and many engineered materials, they are embedded in an amorphous matrix. We adopted a mortar-type embedding approach to overcome this limitation (👉 engrxiv.org/preprint/view/…). 🧵: 1/7
