🇱🇹🇺🇦Today, another shipment of Lithuanian military aid reached Ukraine. We delivered a disassembled light attack aircraft L-39ZA 'Albatros' to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. L-39ZA 'Albatros' was used in Lithuanian_Armed_Forces to train fighter control officers, ensuring pilots' combat readiness.

As part of NATO’s Air Policing missions, 17 Allies have over the years taken turns to safeguard the Baltic States’ airspace.

The missions will continue with jets on stand-by 24/7, ready to react quickly to preserve

🇱🇹DefMin Laurynas Kasčiūnas took part in an urgent NATO-Ukraine Council meeting this evening as 🇺🇦President Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський asked for help defending cities by giving more ammo & air defence. Lithuania is planning to join German-led Air Defence group, possibly with air surveillance radars.

🇱🇹DefMin Laurynas Kasčiūnas just had a meeting with 🇭🇺Ambassador Gabor Diczhazi to discuss the security environment & Hungary's approach in the context of NATO/EU. Minister presented his upcoming work & stressed that continuity of military support to Ukraine is one of our priorities.

🇱🇹🇺🇸This week, Atlantic Council delegation of US security experts visited Lithuania. Besides meetings in Vilnius, our guests visited #IronWolfBrigade , NATO eFP Battle Group Lithuania & US battalion in Pabradė. Discussions focused on Lithuanian defence capabilities & regional security initiatives.

🏀BC Jurbarkas-Karys is competing for the 🇱🇹National Basketball League title with Lithuania's partisans on their jerseys. This club, representing Lithuanian_Armed_Forces, embodies values & discipline similar to soldiers. Moreover, basketball players reinforce our historical memory & civic wil.

🇱🇹Defence Minister Laurynas Kasčiūnas & 🇱🇹Interior Minister Agnė Bilotaitė agreed to strengthen institutional cooperation, primarily in the area of border protection. From now on, closer cooperation in counter-mobility issues & better interoperability between Lithuanian_Armed_Forces & State Border Guard Service / Lithuania.

🇱🇹Viceminister Greta Monika Tuckute met with German defence industry leaders in Berlin today to discuss potential investments in Lithuania.

Viceminister presented the possibilities while representatives from defence industry companies expressed their growing interest.
