Sussexbiker5360 At least you get a burger with this deal. With the new visa charge you get something that we had for free before Brexit. How many people would hand over Β£6 to get nothing in return?

Ministers have reiterated their opposition to any deal with Brussels allowing young people to live and work in EU countries after a report this morning said some elements of this could be agreed as part of a wider set of negotiations. Very disappointing theguardian.com/politics/artic…

The lobbying tactics of the big food companies are as deceitful as those of the big tobacco lobbyists. We need healthy nutritious free school meals, not fried chicken shops close to every school. Boris Johnson caved in to them. Sunak failed to act. Now Starmer and all those

Much common sense here about the need to regulate vaping sensibly so that it helps people to quit smoking tobacco. The lies and deceit of the tobacco industry which owns and controls much of the vaping industry must be resisted as we prepare to reduce smoking levels further

Another β€œBrexit benefit” from the liars who brought us Brexit saying that β€œthere would be no downsides at all” (like all the queues, price rises, reduced growth, charges for Visas, and loss of say in issues and regulations that affect us). Well done Boris Johnson Michael Gove

Daniel Ineedtime πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Boris Johnson Michael Gove Before Brexit, 50% of our trade was with the rest of the EU. We cannot now do trade deals with any EU country without the collective agreement of the EU. Our deal with the EU now is worse than when we were a member. 20% of our trade was with countries which have an EU

How many of these Tory leadership hopeful made nice statements about Priti Patel before today’s vote! It is now clear that the next Tory Leader will be the first choice of no more than 28 Conservative MPs out of their rump of 121. In any event Tory members tend to make dreadful

Work started by Asquith’s Liberal Government in 1911 due to progress next year with the removal of hereditary peers. But where is the progress on the promise of 1911 to replace membership of House of Lords on a hereditary basis with one based on β€œthe popular principle” of
