CAP 1908 is uniting the community, providing various resources to BIPOC,
disproportionately incarcerated and disinvested neighborhoods. They are also a Restore, Reinvest, and Renew grant recipient. As Chair of the R3 board, I was thrilled to stop by and see R3 dollars at work!

The Birth Equity Initiative is critical to dismantling systemic barriers and ensuring equitable access to healthcare for women in Illinois.

Thank you Governor JB Pritzker for proposing $23M in the FY25 budget to put us on a path to birth equity.

Mental healthcare is healthcare and we are focused on an inclusive and equitable approach to mental health that will lead to stronger, resilient communities. Today's mental health discussion is a small piece of the work we're doing for a more healing-centered Illinois.
