The Home Secretary was forced to resign less than 1wk ago for Ministerial Code breach/security lapse - and still lots of unanswered Qs on breach.

Yet Rishi Sunak reappointed her.

Today, in Parliament The Labour Party will demand an urgent plan to restore these vital services.

As I said on Westminster Hour, Rishi Sunak likes to think he’s a man of the people but he’s anything but. As Chancellor he weakened our economic foundations causing a cost of living crisis, and he set his face against a windfall tax & supporting people with their energy bills.

The Tories have crowned Rishi Sunak without him saying a word about what he would do as PM. He has no mandate, no answers and no ideas. Nobody voted for this.

The public deserve their say on Britain’s future through a General Election. It’s time for a fresh start with Labour.

Let’s not forget Rishi Sunak had to be dragged kicking to parliament earlier this year to deal with rising costs of energy. He stood against a windfall tax, refusing to call it such, and leaving so many loopholes it wasn’t much of a tax. He’s as out of touch as the last Tory PM.

No one voted for this.
