I honestly CAN'T BELIEVE Vancouver has a type of zoning that specifically excludes karaoke. That is equal parts very very sad and laughable.

I am disgusted and enraged by this family’s treatment. I also can’t stop wondering whether this crash might have been prevented by fixed speed cameras and a separated bike lane & traffic calming infrastructure on Cornwall instead of the parallel bike route on York St.

Yesterday I met a guy in a shop and he saw me wearing my bike helmet and we got talking about e-bikes. He said he has epilepsy so he'll never be able to drive a car but he was super interested in talking about whether an e-bike or e-scooter might be an option for him.

In NYC road diets reduce street deaths & serious injuries for pedestrians by 31% and motor vehicle occupants by 34%. Curb & sidewalk extensions reduced pedestrian deaths/serious injuries by 44%!

If we are serious about Vision Zero we need to start implementing tools on this list
