Menswear guy writing an entire thread on how Ben Shapiro could learn a thing or two from a stuffed animal is how I want to start every Friday.

Have never spent more than $10K on a short. Starts with the script. When you get above $30K you’re better off figuring out how to make a micro budget feature.

This is one of the many aspects of Aftersun that blew me away. Don’t know that I’ve ever seen a movie do a better job of telling a story with such little exposition.

Up there with Gene Hackman when it comes to actors whose acting style and career I see as the north star. An absolute legend. Perfect character actor who also had the ability to carry a project. And from all accounts an incredibly nice guy.

Deleted my Coppola tweet. While I stand by the fact that any crew member complaining about a legendary director wasting time (that he’s paying for himself) is ridiculous, I’m also not in favor of doxxing sources (even if I think the Guardian piece is shoddy at best).

I read a script four years ago that I loved and I genuinely think I can get made. Two people, one location, kind of Eternal Sunshine as a genre piece. She went with another producer/director who has yet to get it off the ground. I check in every year. The power of good writing...

This was the last video I did for Funny or Die before they moved fully into branded content. Re-watching it really makes me wanna grab 2-3 friends and go make a no budget short.
