It really is a stunning piece and wonderful to sing The GSA Choir Harry Baines Edwin Morgan Trust - so look forward to sharing it with our audience at the summer concert. Look out for tickets - coming soon!
It’s a lovely piece - and yet another impressive woman composer in Imogen Holst - timing is all! Thanks The GSA Choir #womeninmusic
Everyday, @Vertexpharma’s greed costs #cysticfibrosis patients’ lives.
Scientific innovation means nothing if it doesn’t reach the people who need it - withhold Vertex’s Breakthrough until CF drugs are accessible to all!
Beautiful piece by a gifted composer…wonderful to begin to get to grips with the piece The GSA Choir - and in the midst of 120 singers. So looking forward to our summer concert ❤️🎶
New things even during our 'old routines'. This morning's walk and the light caught this lichen-encrusted fencepost, broken down wire fence and the faded bracken - the backdrop of the sky created glorious colour combinations. #inspirational
Such a shame not to make it - but I have important choir rehearsal tonight. Get along if you can - amazing initiative supporting young people’s creativity The Cumnock Tryst James MacMillan 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️🎶
It was brilliant; When You Go new piece is fantastic…can’t wait to perform the premiere at this summer’s The GSA Choir concert in June Harry Baines setting to music of poem by Edwin Morgan❤️🎶
My first rehearsal back at The GSA Choir for 2024 - and our Open Rehearsal encouraging new members to come join/sing with us. A packed house with between 170/180 singers. Exhilarating!!!!👌🏻❤️🎶
PS This just the view of Tenor, Bass and Alto sections…us sopranos were to my right!!!!
Come join us …. it’s been an amazing experience and can’t imagine not being part of the award winning The GSA Choir ❤️🎶
'It's an astonishing thing: you're just part of something that's so much bigger than yourself, and that's got to be good for everybody on the planet.'
Fiona (Alto 2) talks about the The GSA Choir, not reading music, and being part of the greater whole of the ensemble.
You know you want to…join an ambitious, award winning The GSA Choir - never regretted joining for a nano second!!
