A very special day celebrating The Flow Country 's successful #worldheritagesite bid. HM The King unveiled the plaque, using a blanket made with our wool, grown by NCC hill sheep, which graze on The Flow Country and made by the amazing Maria Benjamin . Great seeing so many folk.
No one ever deserved to win a thing more! I’m lucky to call this amazing woman my friend. She’s turns our (and lots of other farmer’s) wool in to tweed, makes soap, etc etc. Takes huge risks and invests to make Cumbria better. Check out her brilliant products Maria Benjamin
