It's Sex Worker Pride Day. I've been shamed a lot as a sex worker, and there's not many of us who are "out" like myself. However, the sex work community is incredible, resilient and without whom, would never have found safety, solidarity and acceptance.

Every year on September 14th sex workers around the world celebrate Sex Workers’ Pride Day. This day was created in 2019 by the Global Network of Sex Work Projects for sex workers to commemorate themselves, their community and the work they do; Sex workers still face heavy

Why would pimps want us in trade unions? Why would they want us to have access to the tools to challenge exploitative practices? What is truly disgusting is trade unionists condemning sex workers to work without rights, safety and autonomy to change our working conditions.

The most respectful thing a person can do for a SWer is pay them for their time. Including & perhaps especially, if you want to learn from them or ingratiate yourself into this community 💜
