With this whole Garminpocalypse going on at the moment, I thought I’d try out something different for my long run - run by feel rather than my watch dictating the pace. It made for a very enjoyable run, I achieved what I set out to achieve and felt good after.

Good to see that Garmin is back to normal. It would be nice to have some comms from Garmin to users outlining what was going on, what they were doing to rectify the problem and what, if anything, users need to do to protect their data.

Yoga is an excellent exercise to do either after a run or in between runs. If you don’t know your downward dog from your warrior pose there are lots of good apps to help you, some free. Get your stretch on. Namaste.

Maidenhead AC’s 24 hour running challenge is now well underway. The #MAC24CIN run for BBC Children in Need sees MAC runners running for an hour or two over the course of 24 hours. How many miles do you think we’ll manage to clock up?

8 hours in and the #MAC24CIN runners have passed the 105 mile mark. 🏃‍♀️🏃💪🏻

We’re now are the halfway point for the #MAC24CIN relay and approaching 200 miles.

With 15 minutes to go of the #MAC24CIN 24 hour relay, there’s currently 350 miles on the clock. Still a few to add but this is looking great.
