Got my free beer this morning. They didn't have any in stock when I tried last week. Thanks for the reminder Martin Lewis.

My guess is because millions will just leave their savings sitting there regardless so leaving the rate static increases RBSs margins.

Martin Lewis The Martin Lewis Money Show Live When I was 13, I won 25 albums of my choice as top prize in a Pepsi advertising slogan competition. My parents claimed 5 for themselves and made me give 1 each to my 3 siblings, 2 to friends. I wasn't happy to put it mildly. (My choice of 15 albums was incredibly poor btw.)
