My union is striking today. The Royal Fleet Auxiliary is the poor cousin of the forces. We are overworked and undervalued. This is the first time the Officers of the RFA have ever gone on strike. Good will has been exhausted. The new gov backed us when out of power, but not now

It has been an absolute honour to support the striking Officer's on the Picket and Demo in Portland today. A solid show of strength across the day from all Nautilus International members at RFA - including vessels in the Far East, Mediterranean, and all around the UK.
