That was fun!!! Carlos Perez hits a 9th inning game winning double and the Knights beat the Syracuse Mets 5-4. Knights have now won 5 of their last 7 games.

Been broadcasting Charlotte Knights for 27 years and I’ve never seen someone hit a home run in 5 straight games. Danny Mendick is on fire!!!

So glad John Sterling got the send off he so deserved. He’ll be missed greatly, especially by this guy. We have a couple things in common…we’ve both spent our professional lives in baseball and we’re both fathers of triplets. Comparison ends there … enjoy retirement John!!!
