Yes, the causes of obesity matter.

Understanding causes will help with prevention measures.

But we can only implement research findings if there is an appetite for change from those who pull strings. Sadly, we shouldn’t hold our breath here.

We need to make things change by raising awareness about the reality of living with this disease.

We must address obesity stigma so our younger generation who LwO have better QOL.

I’m broken, in a strangely good kind of way, seeing this beautiful, eloquent boy. A bit like Hope emerging from Pandora’s Box.

Over the last 2 weeks we have seen a trojan amount of advocacy work happening with our ECPO council members.
Speaking to parliament, on national TV, launching image galleries, childrens initiatives, new walking groups, the list is long.
Together we are stronger, well done all.
