Is it me or was the energy so different from Clemson’s offense when Cade Klubnik came in the game? I know it was “garbage” time but it just felt like there was more juice.

This Clemson defense is as advertised! Smothering speed on all three levels, especially front-7.

I’m dying to know (and will find out) the real story on what’s going on with LSU and its star WR Kayshon Boutte. LSU’s blatant lack of interest in getting him involved and Boutte’s obvious frustration was alarming!

Two players I can’t wait to see develop this season from tonight’s game: LSU freshman TE Mason Taylor (Jason Taylor’s son) and FSU junior EDGE Jared Verse (transfer from Albany… great on FSU discovering him!). Both guys are future impact NFL players.

LSU WR Kayshon Boutte is the most explosive WR in the country. So excited to see him healthy after missing half of last season with ankle injury.

Ohio State DT Michael Hall Jr. is only a second-year player (played four games and redshirted last yr) but he’s making a name for himself in NFL scouting circles tonight. Twitchy 290-pounder who has been consistently disruptive in ND’s backfield!

After what we’ve seen tonight; I can’t wait to scout Florida QB Anthony Richardson live next week vs Kentucky. Richardson vs. UK QB Will Levis is the best QB scouting matchup of the first month of the CFB season.

Can anyone come up with a more talented trio of TE’s in college football history than Georgia’s Brock Bowers, Darnell Washington and Arik Gilbert? I’m open to suggestions. Remember, Gilbert is No.3 on the depth chart and he could be a first round draft pick.

Meanwhile, UNC is on the ropes! State of North Carolina is having a wild afternoon.

NC State may have just caught a season-saving break — from an All-Conference kicker.

Studied tape of last night’s WVU-Pitt game. Pitt QB Kedon Slovis wasn’t perfect but I was impressed by his toughness and accuracy under pressure. Hung tough in the pocket all night and delivered a bunch of dimes under duress. Promising start for an underrated 2023 QB prospect.
